Huyawda El Zain is a young activist who's all about using social media and content creation to spread the word and inspire action, especially when it comes to causes close to her heart like climate change, women's rights, and helping migrants and refugees. She has been lucky to team up with a variety of organizations to raise awareness and give a voice to those who often go unheard. But after being in this space for a while,  she quickly noticed how everything was perceived through a certain viewpoint that disregarded marginalized communities, and that's when she realized that we need to do more. That's why she joined Climate Sirens. We’re all about tackling issues head-on and making sure everyone's voice is heard through a decolonial lens and sustainably, with a focus on highlighting women in the SWANA community. It's a journey, but she is excited to be part of it!
