Indigenous communities in SWANA hold the keys to adaptability, resilience, and peace, passed down over centuries. Yet their solutions are drowned out. The intersections of gender, climate, and social justice injustices amplify the vulnerabilities faced by SWANA's young women.
The SWANA Climate Sirens collective is not “giving voice to the voiceless”; it is recognizing and acting upon the deep-seated knowledge and leadership potential of women from the SWANA region.
